When you return for your procedure, our priority is to make you comfortable. That starts with our relaxing lobby, where you can help yourself to our coffee bar. In our state-of-the-art treatment room, our focus becomes ensuring your procedure is as stress- and pain-free as possible. Dr. Clayhold is licensed to provide a variety of anesthesia options for your comfort. If you suffer from dental anxiety, you’ll be happy to know that IV sedation and oral sedation essentially allow you to sleep through dental implant placement. You won’t feel anything during or remember anything after your procedure.

Once you’re sedated Dr. Clayhold will perform any initial procedures to prepare you for implant placement. If you’re having a decayed tooth replaced, he’ll extract it. He may also need to perform bone grafting to rebuild your jawbone after recession. During placement, he’ll permanently anchor a durable titanium implant post in your jawbone. This replaces your natural tooth roots. He uses BioHorizons® and Astra Tech implants—both known for their superior quality and strength. He also uses growth factors from your own blood during the procedure to facilitate smooth healing. Whenever possible, we offer immediate-load dental implants which means you can receive your temporary crown in the same day and quickly resume all normal daily activities!
